Tours and Travel related:

  • The rates quoted are applicable to NRI or Indian Nationals Only. 
  • The rates will be revised if any changes in the number of passengers or when any additional services required. 
  • Prices valid for the number of travelers mentioned in the quote traveling together in one vehicle.
  • Tour cost for children will be as per the Company policy. Children above the age of 11 years will be charged the applicable adult rates.
  • All Rates & bookings subject to availability.
  • Rates are subject to vary.
  • 100% payment to be deposited before the trip starts as per the payment policy. Final tour Vouchers will be provided on receipt of full payment.
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services / transportation in any circumstance.
  • In the event of circumstances/situations such as road blockage due to strike/agitation, road construction, natural calamities, sickness evacuation, delay/cancellation of train/flight etc. also, due to monsoon rains and extreme weather patterns journey time can vary enormously at all times of year, which is beyond our control and additional expenses incurred due to these reasons has to be borne by the traveller.
  • The timings mentioned in day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending, upon the road conditions, particular health conditions of the guests.
  • In case of less bookings, other categories of tours, Family tours, All women tours, Senior citizen tours can be merged, in order to operate the tour on optimum capacity.
  • Although we pride ourselves in constantly maintaining our tour standard, the tour program is subject to change without prior notice.
  • Tour is organized on the basis final instructions and requirements received from yourselves and on your own risk and responsibilities.
  • Travelsmart do not recommend availing services or shopping at any specific shop, it is at sole discretion of Guest/traveler.
  • Any issues encountered during the trip need to be resolved with Tour Manager immediately during the trip. Issues can’t be addressed after completion of the trip.
  • Delay in processing payment beyond stipulated time limit will result in rooms not available /auto released/ rate change.
  • Please note the company coordinates services from several independent service providers and does not own or control hotels, transport or other facilities mentioned in the tour. Please note Company liability as under:

LIABILITY: We shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client or any person travelling with him for:

  1. a) Any mishap, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss of life, loss of money, delay, discomfort, increased       expenses, consequential loss and/or damage or any kind of theft howsoever caused;
  •  b)Any act, omission, default of any dependent Contractor or other person or by any servant or agent employed         by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility         or service for the client or for any person traveling with him howsoever caused.
  1. c) The  temporary   or  permanent   loss  of  or  damage  to baggage  or  personal effects  howsoever  caused  including willful negligence on the part of any person.
  2. d) We shall not be responsible and / or liable for any damages caused to the Client due to reasons beyond our control (Force Majeure / Vis Majeure).
  3. e) No liability on our part arising in any way out of this contract in respect of any tour, holiday, and excursion facility shall exceed the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for.
  • Law prevalent in India is applicable and as a part of the cause of action arises in Pune and the Company has its Registered Office in Pune, it is agreed between the parties that in the event of a dispute or difference between the parties the exclusive jurisdiction shall vest in a court / forum / tribunal in Pune alone having jurisdiction to decide the matter.

Hotel Rooms, Check-in, Breakfast Related

  • In case the hotel mentioned are unavailable, you will be provided alternate accommodation in the similar category. Any upgradation in the Hotel/ room category will be charged extra.
  • Standard Hotel check-in time is usually between 12 PM – 2 PM & check-out time is between 10 AM to 12 PM. The check in -Check out timings, meal timings (if applicable) will be as per the respective hotel policy.  Early check-in is subject to availability & hotel may charge extra (not included in the tour price). In case of late check-in, please inform the hotel about your arrival time.
  • In case you arrive before check-in time & free rooms are unavailable, you can fresh-up in hotel common washroom and proceed with sightseeing until your check-in time.
  • Wherever room category is not mentioned in the quote / website, Standard room will be provided. Room allotment will be as per availability at the time of check in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed
  • Hotel rooms are provided on double sharing basis. In case of 3 adults or child above 5 years, 3-sharing room or Room with extra bed/mattress will be provided. Triple Room can have One Double Bed + 1 Roll Away Bed
  • Preparing Hotel Voucher will take at least 2 working days from the date of booking and payment as per policy.
  • All Hotels are booked in the name of Primary Traveler mentioned at the time of booking. Any change in guest name is considered as tour canceled and rebooked – cancellation charges apply & hotels based on availability. Valid ID & Address proof need to be carried for all guests including children.
  • If package includes breakfast & hotel does not provide complimentary breakfast, INR 100 for 2-star, INR 150 for 3-star & INR 250 for 4-star will be provided as Breakfast expenses per person (above 5 years).
  • If you miss complimentary breakfast in the hotel due to early morning sightseeing (before 8 AM), you need to have breakfast outside at own expense.
  • In the event of guest misconduct, the hotel reserves the right to refuse entry.
  • Depending on each hotel policy, there could be mandatory – refundable – deposits at the time of check in at the hotel.  (this can be a cash deposit or a credit card block) and the hotel will refund the same at the time of check out.

Vehicle Category, Pickup Related

  • Vehicle Provided as per mention tour plan (Point to Point Basis only).
  • Vehicle should not be used for personal purpose like visiting malls / shopping, visiting restaurants for dinner, etc
  • AC in the vehicle is switched off in hilly regions and also when the vehicle is parked
  • In case Package booking is without Airport pickup / drop facility then additional charges apply for Airport Pick-up/Drop
  • Any special requests like English/Hindi speaking driver is based on availability and can’t be guaranteed
  • In case of any delay by customer in arrival / start time, driver & Travelsmart coordinator should be communicated before the trip start time.

Sightseeing Related

  • Customers should be ready for sightseeing at Start Time mentioned in the itinerary in order to cover all the places in itinerary. Sightseeing can’t extend beyond 7 PM and any places missed can’t be covered on the following day.
  • Sightseeing is limited to the places mentioned in the itinerary. If time permits, you may visit additional places (not mentioned in itinerary) by paying for extra kilo-meters to the cab driver.
  • In case of natural disasters or cab strike, Travelsmart may suggest alternate destination or alternate dates. No compensation can be arranged for affected day.
  • Please check weekly off days for sightseeing places. Also, few places may be closed due to heavy rains / maintenance without prior intimation & we have no control on such incidents. Wherever possible, alternate sightseeing may be arranged in such cases.
  • Entry Fees & Activity Fees may change without any intimation and we have no control on the same. All fees mentioned in our website are for Indian nationals.
  • In case of sightseeing on Shared coach (SIC) basis, you are advised to wait for your pick up, at the Hotel lobby or preadvised location at least 10 minutes prior your pick up time. In case you miss your pick up time, the vehicle may leave and no refund will be arranged.

Visa Related:

In case of international tours, respective countries visas need to be applied well in advance. Please note that:

  • Visa fees with service charges is non refundable once the visa is applied for. 
  • Acceptance and rejection of visas is at the sole discretion of the respective Embassy/Visa granting authorities.
  • Once visas are handed over kindly do double check all the details, if any discrepancy found bring to our notice immediately/within 24 hrs., any claim raised beyond this stipulated time will be treated null and void.

Miscelleneous Terms

  • In extreme cases, your tour may be cancelled by Travelsmart in case of natural disasters, political unrest or unavoidable circumstances and 100% of your booking amount (excluding payments we forwarded to vendors, hotels, airlines, for ticket bookings etc.) will be refunded. In case we are forced to cancel the tour / package / booking due to any misunderstanding of the terms and conditions, the cancellation rules will apply.
  • Refund for cancelled tours usually takes around 7-10 business days (depends on response from vendors, hotels, airlines etc.) The amount will be refunded to the same source, from where it was received.
  • Travelsmart’s liability is limited to providing cab & stay. Sightseeing is complementary and it carries no liability. While we try our best to cover all places in the itinerary, no refund will be issued for sightseeing missed during the trip.
  • The maximum liability of Travelsmart in case of issues/disputes is limited to Pune Jurisdiction.

Terms

Amendment / Refund / Cancellation policy Related

Booking can be modified up to 1 week before the travel date (amendment charges apply for hotels, cabs, tickets along with any price difference for revised date – hotels based on availability). Booking can be modified only once (any circumstance) and further changes are treated as fresh booking.

Advance payment / full payment received is refundable under the below mentioned terms:

  • 25% cancellation charge of the total package cost, if cancelled more than 45 days prior the tour starts.
  • 50% cancellation charge of the total package cost, if cancelled between 44 to 30 days before the tour starts.
  • 75% cancellation charge of the total package cost if cancelled between 29 to 15 days before the tour starts
  • No refund is possible in case of cancellation less than 14 days before the tour starts/No show (As we already made further payments for your services by this time)
  • Besides above, all the actual expenses like air bookings, visa processing charges, ticket purchased including service charges will be deducted from total payments
  • Advance payment made by client for confirming the availability of package, hotel, ticket will be refundable if Travel Smart fails to confirm availability. But once availability is confirmed, then advance payment becomes non-refundable, non-adjustable. Any query after confirmation will not be entertained.
  • In case of national lockdown / epidemic like Coronavirus or unavoidable unexpected circumstances, reschedule can be arranged (if possible, if time permits) For tour cancellation, from your side, the cancellation policy will apply.
